Architectural Photographer based in Melbourne

Although I am a Melbourne based architectural photographer, I began my career in London at an international commercial retail design consultancy, which has naturally given me a lifelong bias towards photographing architecture. Even when traveling outside of Australia I always find myself primarily drawn to photographing the the local architecture, as will be most apparent in the Travel galleries. My education in photographing architecture derived from working closely with the designers at Fitch and Company who taught me how to appreciate the design and flow of a building, what is important in making the space work, and then how to effectively interpret the brief in the camera. Today I combine this with my appreciation of light, whether it be natural or supplemented, along with my eye for shapes and composition in order to accentuate the integrity of any architectural project.
